Abstract

PURPOSE:Phospholipid is dispersed in an aqueous medium, freeze-dried and dispersed in an aqueous medium containing an active ingredient again to produce the titled preparation used as a support for adjusting the absorption of the active ingredient by no use of an organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A phospholipid, originating from yolk, soybean, other animal of plant tissues such as phosphatidylcholine or sphingomyelins or their mixture, is dispersed in an aqueous medium such as an aqueous solution of sodium chloride or a shaccharide. Then, the dispersion is freeze-dried at -20--50 deg.C. The resultant freeze-dried product is dispersed again in an aqueous medium containing an active ingredient to produce the titled preparation. Examples of the above active ingredient are diltiazem, glutathion, vitamins, enzyme preparation such as L-asparginase. The weight ratio of the active ingredient to the phospholipid in the freeze-dried product is 1pt/(5-100)pts. preferably.
