Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the delay in compensating operation and to achieve compensation of excellent dropout, by using a sampling pulse synchronized with a carrier wave for the output of a wave detection circiuit at all times and achieving the detected output through sample-holding. CONSTITUTION:The actual dropout generating period is detected by a monostable multivibrator MMV9 of the prestage and a detection signal (e) is produced, and the next MMV10 is triggered at the tail end ridge of this detection signal (e) to produce a delay signal of a prescribed period. The production of a sampling pulse (d) is inhibited by closing an AND gate 11 for the period of presence of the outputs (e), (f) of the MMVs 9, 10, and the transmission of the sampling pulse (d) to a sample holding circuit 4 is interrupted. Thus, the dropout and the distortion of waveform for a prescribed period after that are stored and compensated with a sampling level immediately before the production of the dropout.
