Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary second correction in an electronic timepiece which has electrooptical display and mechanical display, by making time correction when the crown is returned from a pull state to a normal position and further pushed. CONSTITUTION:When a crown 6 is pulled in such a state that it is not pulled, in every pull operation thereof a display mode selection signal from a control circuit 19 is sent to operate a selection circuit 14, which selects the display mode of days of the week, hour and minute, or alarm set time. For the correction of the display contents, the crown 6 is pulled by one stage and rotated, thereby correcting the contents of counters 10-13 corresponding to the extent of the rotation. To correct the contents of analog display parts 3 and 4, the crown 6 is pulled by two stages and rotated, thus rotating the train wheels of an electromechanical transducer 17. For the correction of second display, the crown is pulled by one stage and pushed being timed with the time signal and it is further pushed beyond the normal position.
