CONSTITUTION:When detecting a faulty minor loop of a bubble memory chip constituted of plural minor loops 2 and a major loop 1, the detection frequency of a faulty minor loop by which a bubble jumps to an adjacent minor loop is raised, comparing with the case when a data is written so as to be a continuous signal of ''1'', by writing a data so that an output signal of a detector 5 becomes a repetitive signal containing ''0'' such as ''1010''.
