Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled adherent tape with excellent water resistance, prepd. by providing a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on both sides of a porous substrate treated with a lipophilic polymer.
CONSTITUTION: An acrylic copolymer, a block copolymer rubber on the like having apparent modulus of elasticity 0.2W1,000kg/cm2 after the treatment of a substrate is used as a hydrophilic polymer. A porous substrate such as film or sheet, e.g., non-woven fabric or expanded film having a large number of pores inside and cushioning property is impregnated with about 20W700wt% hydrophilic polymer, filling the pore or coating the surface. Then both sides of the substrate are coated with a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive to prepare a double-side pressure sensitive tape.
