Abstract

PURPOSE:To copy the desired number of sheets automatically with a desired order through a simple system, by storing a plurality of document images to a memory in advance and selecting and copying one document image arbitrarily from the memory. CONSTITUTION:An original document is exposed by a light source 303, and the document image is temporarily stored to different areas of a memory 304. The document image stored in this memory 304 is read out under the control of a control section 309 by a readout section 306 including a photoelectric converter. The instruction such as start of copy from the operation section 301 is entired to the section 309 and a signal instructing number of copying sheets and print starting instruction are inputted. The document image read out at the section 306 is applied to a print section 307 through photoelectric conversion, and an arbitary document image from the memory 304 is selected and copied. The copied objective at the print section 307 is contained in a tray 308 at a bundle and the desired number of sheets can be copied automatically in the desired order.
