Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a glass electrode film sensitive peculiarly to ammonia by adding a specified amount of anhydrous phosphoric acid, alkaline earth metallic oxide and cupric oxide.
CONSTITUTION: To alkaline earth metallic phosphate glass is added 45W65mol% anhydrous phosphoric acid to the toatl molar amount, 15W45mol% alkaline earth metallic oxide and 2.5W45mol% cupric oxide. The alkaline earth metallic oxide is oxide of Mg, Be, Ba, Sr or Ca, that is, MgO, BeO, BaO, SrO or CaO. Especially, MgO and BeO are superior.
