Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve sensitivity by preventing a flicker of a screen by leading an output signal when storing charge for lines in a readout part by controlling a driving pulse for the readout part. CONSTITUTION:For each picture element of an optical image photodetected by an optical system, the photoreceptor part 1 of a two-dimensional CCD generates charge, which is transferred successively to a storage part 2 with a clock pulse phia generated in every blanking period of one field to store charge in the storage part 2 as much as one screen. With a readout-part driving pulse phic from a pulse generating circuit 4 which transfers the charge stored in the storage part 2 to a readout part 3 with a transfer clock pulse phib by a quantity for one line at every time, the charge is transferred successively once in every horizontal scanning period to lead a video signal 5 out. Thus, a flicker of a screen is prevented to improve sensitivity.
