Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a small-sized, inexpensive, and easy-maintenance power source while eliminating the need for a storage battery by using the maximum output of a solar battery in accordance with solar radiation and also using a commercial power source when it is not enough. CONSTITUTION:In general, the output characteristics of the sum vary with solar radiation. For the purpose, the inverter 16 of a circuit which leads the output of a solar battery out through the inverter 16 and supplies it to a load 14 is excited separately. The inverter is controlled by the output of a pyrheliometer 19 to supply the maximum output of current solar radiation to the load 14. If the output is not enough, a commercial power source 17 is used in combination. The solar battery may be deficient in capacity and the capacity of the solar battery is selected economically.
