Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled crosslinkable compound having self-curability and excellent copolymerizability with a polyester or the like and providing cured products having excellent electrical properties, prepared by reacting an aromatic hydrocarbon, formaldehyde and an α,β-unsaturated monocarboxylic acid.
CONSTITUTION: 1mol of aromatic hydrocarbon, e.g., m-xylene or toluene, about 1W50mol of formaldehyde and about 1W50mol of α,β-unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, e.g., (meth)acrylic acid, are mixed and then reacted, preferably, in a solvent, e.g., N-methyl-pyrrolidone or benzene, at about 80W150°C for about 5W30hr.
