Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled herbicide comprising a specific pyrazole derivative and an N- benzyl-haloacetamide as active ingredienrs, exhibiting more controlling effect on broadleaf weeds than the individual use respectively, effective against "Cyperus serotinus" Rottb, having synergistically weeding effect.
CONSTITUTION: A pyrazole derivatives, e.g., 1,3-dimethyl-4-(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl)- 5-phenacyloxypyrazole, etc. shown by the formula I [R is group shown by the formula II (X1 is H or CH3), or shown by the formula III (X2 is H or halogen)] is blended with an N-(α,α-dimethylbenzyl)-α-halo-tert butylacetamide in a weigh ratio of former to latter of 0.05W5 to 1. Especially effective against "Cyperus serotinus" Rottb, capable of destroying completely weeds in paddy rice in a safe amount of herbicide.
