Abstract

CONSTITUTION:An hour hand 1 and a minute hand 2 are arranged over a DAP liquid-crystal panel. Polarizing plates 3 and 4 are arranged crossing at right angles. A voltage higher than a threshold voltage is applied to this DAP type liquid-crystal display device through transparent electrodes 7 and 8, making the panel color. In addition, a time display scale, digital display part, etc., may be used as a coloring part.
