Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a seasoning liquid, by adjusting the pH of the Steffen process waste liquid to 4W10 by gaseous CO2 saturation and mineral acid treatment, subjecting the liquid to electrodialysis with an ion exchange diaphragm, and treating with a Cl-type anion exchange resin.
CONSTITUTION: Carbon dioxide gas is blasted through the Steffen process waste liquid until the pH of the liquid reaches 10, and the liquid is concentrated to about Bx25W45° with a vacuum evaporator, mixed with a mineral acid such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, hydrochloric acid, etc. to 4W10pH, subjected to the electrodialysis with an ion exchange diaphragm, treated with a Cl-type anion exchange resin, and concentrated again to Bx65W80° with a vacuum evaporator, to obtain the objective seasoning liquid containing amino acids such as glutamic acid, betaine, saccharides, etc.
