Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain twisted wires having excellent extensibilities, by setting the rotation of the rotating-straightening device to most suitable speeds in accordance with the kind, diameter, drawing speed, etc., of strands.
CONSTITUTION: A rotating-straightening device 19 which straighten a central strand 1 is installed between the main body and the twisting section of a wire twisting machine. The straightening device 19 is revolved by a shaft 21 fitted to a supporting cylinder 9 which rotates along with a rotary cylinder 3, and rotated by a plant gear 22 which rotates while it is engaged with the internal gear of the gear 23. Therefore, by adjusting the rotating speed of the gear 23 which is driven by a variable speed driving device M, the rotating speed of the rotating-straightening device 19 can be adjusted optionally to the most suitable one for straightening, and thus, the most suitable extensibility can be given to the central strand 1.
