Abstract
PURPOSE:To constitute an assembled battery by providing penetrating holes in each part of an insulating plate which is formed by dividing the plate into plural parts at folds, placing thin batteries on the plate so that the terminal of each battery touches each penetrating hole, connecting the terminals by means of insulating plates, and bending the plate at the folds. CONSTITUTION:A belt-like insulating plate 20 is divided at folds into a plural number of parts, each of which has, for example, a pair of penetrating holes (23-1) and (23-1). Thin batteries (10-1-6) such as lithium batteries are placed on the plate 20 in such a manner that the terminal of each battery, which is placed so that the top and the bottom surfaces are the negative and the positive terminals respectively, touches each penetrating hole. Here, the batteries are placed on the front and the back of the plate 20 alternately, so that the terminals of the batteries of adjacent parts which touch penetrating holes have a reverse polarity. After that, the battery group is connected with insulating plates (30-1-3), and the groups each consisting of thin batteries are stacked by bending the plate 20 at the folds, thus an assembled battery is obtained. By the means mentioned above, an asembled battery with voluntary voltage can be constituted easily.
