Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the separability and recover high grade concentrate of zinc ore at high yield when zinc ore is separated by flotation, by adding copper amine complex ion.
CONSTITUTION: Zinc minerals are recovered as a float from ores containing zinc sulfide minerals. At this time, copper amine complex ion is added. Actually, after a solution in which copper amine complex ion is generated by adding aqueous ammonia to copper sulfate, is added to the ore pulp containing zinc minerals, a collector and a foaming agent are added to the ore pulp, and thus, floating of zinc minerals is performed. Since the cooper amine complex ion contains Cu and NH3 in a ratio of 1:4, copper sulfate and aqueous ammonia are mixed together so that the mixture contains them in the ratio.
