Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform the removal of films by toner filming without removing a photosensitive drum from the device by providing an elastic material layer on the outside circumferential surface of a cylindrical body having ridigity, and providing a brush on the outside circumferential surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:The fur brush of the copying machine is constituted of a cylindrical body 5 having ridigity, and an elastic material layer provided on the outside circumferential surface of the body 5. When it is used for cleaning the photosensitive drum, the brush is set and rotated in about the position where the tips of fibers 3 are in contact with th surface of a photosensitive drum 7. The dusted toner is recovered through a cover 8 like an arrow. To remove films by toner filming, the brush is set and rotated by being approached to the drum 7. Then, the elastic force owing to the deformation of the layer 6 is exerted and since the drum surface is polished by the root parts of the fibers 3, the film removal is accomplished effectively. In this case, there is no need for removing the drum each time, and this makes the job easy.
