Abstract
PURPOSE:To unnecessitate attachment devices and enhance the effficiency of incineration by a method wherein a fire grate for bringing a material to be incinerated into precombustion by using waste heat so as to convert the material into fluidizable particulate form is provided above a fluidized bed forming region, and a charging port for the material to be incinerated is provided. CONSTITUTION:The charging port 7 for charging the material to be incinerated into the fluidized-bed type incinerator 1 is provided on the top side of the incinerator 1, a vibrating sieve member 9 is fitted at the charging port 7 and the fire grate 12 is horizontally placed between the charging port 7 and the fluidized bed forming region C in which a fluidized bed A is formed. Minute materials in the material to be incinerated are charged into the region C via an auxiliary charing passage 13 and are burned completely. On the other hand, coars materials to be incinerated are introduced at the charging port 7, then they are conveted into particulate material through the precombustion effected by waste heat on the fire grate 12 and fall into the fluidized bed forming region C. In the fluidized bed A, the material is completely burned while being stirred by hot air which is jetted from a diffusing pipe.
