Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely discriminate terminal devices, by making different the pulse width of a start signal and a scanning signal, when a remote controller is constituted with a master station transmitting the start and scanning signals, terminal device controlling a load through the discrmination of a control signal, and status monitor terminal device having the operation device requesting the scanning signal. CONSTITUTION:A master station 2 incorporating an operation switch 24 and display circuit 26 is connected to a power source line commonly used as a signal line, and to the power source line 1 extended to a remote location, a plurality of control terminal devices 3 having a number of loads 4 and a plurality of status monitor terminal device 5 having an operation device 6 consisting of a number of wall switches or smoke switches are connected. With this constitution, when the monitoring data of terminal devices are transmitted to the master station 2, the following scanning signal is requested to the master station 2. That is, the control signal from the master station 2, the start signal for scanning, and the scanning request signal from the terminal devices 5 are made different for the pulse width.
