Abstract
PURPOSE:To record the negative and positive images by a simple method by transferring the image obtained by exposing the thermal ink donor sheet according to the image on the first recording paper, thereafter heating the ink donor sheet and the second recording paper in contact and transferring the image. CONSTITUTION:The thermal ink donor sheet which is made to hold the ink presenting fluidity and sublimability by heating is used. The light image is formed on the thermal ink donor sheet 10 via the lens 15, the transparent supporter 14 by irradiating the transparent manuscript 12 by the flash lamp 16 the negative image composed of fused ink is transferred to the first recording paper 11 (mark 13 is the back plate.) Then, the first recording paper 11 is peeled by the peeling roll 17, while the positive image remains still on the sheet 10, the sheet 10 is made to run in the arrow direction alpha, and it is contacted with the second recording paper 111 between the opposite roll 19 and the heating device 18, and the positive image is tansferred to the second recording paper under heating by the device 18.
