Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the degree of stabilization to the change of load for a high voltage power source for cathode-ray tube, by stabilizing both the positive and negative DC high voltage through different control circuits respectively. CONSTITUTION:The peak-to-peak voltage of the secondary winding of a booster transformer 2 is detected through a voltage detecting circuit 11. This detection output is applied to a control circuit 9 to be compared with comparison voltage ER1. Thus a driving circuit 1 is controlled by the output of comparison to stabilize the AC voltage generated at the secondary wiring. As a result, the positive DC high voltage +EA is stabilized. On the other hand, the negative DC high voltage -EK is applied to an error amplifier 12 through a voltage dividing circuit 8 to be compared with the reference voltage ER2. The output of comparison is applied to an output terminal having the earth potential close to that of a rectifying circuit 7 to stablize the voltage -EK. Accordingly the display of a cathode-ray tube has no change of size although the brightness is varied.
