CONSTITUTION:In a thin film waveguide type head which is provided with a semiocnductor laser 3, a tooth electrode 7 for energizing an ultrasonic surface acoustic wave 8 and thin film lenses 5, 9, on a waveguide 2 on a base plate 1, it is covered with a cover member 19 through a spacer 20 so that dust, etc. do not stick onto its surface.
