Abstract

PURPOSE:To form a device by a space diversity system without requiring two sets of receivers, by making transmission and reception with one of two antenna elements and switching the performance to another antenna element if the received input is lowered. CONSTITUTION:Two antenna elements 1-1, 1-2 are installed at prescribed intervals (d). For exmple, a transmitter 4 and a receiver 5 are connected to the 1st antenna element 1-1, and if a squeltch circuit for the receiver 5 is operated through lowered reception inputs due to a weak electric field during communication, a signal indicating the operation is given to a control circuit 6. If this state keeps for a prescribed time, an antenna changeover device 2 is switched with the control circuit 6, the 2nd antenna element 1-2 is selected and the state possible for the communication is restored.
