Abstract

PURPOSE:To compensate amplitude difference and phase difference between a current command value and an actual value, by doing principal integral arithmetic on rotational coordinates as controlled by DC quantity, and proportional arithmetic on fixed coordinates as controlled by AC quantity. CONSTITUTION:When an AC machine is operated in variable speeds via a power converter, two current command values i1* and i2* taken on rotational coordinates will be given to integral adjusters 411 and 412, and input to coordinates converters 413 and 414, by adding to i1 and i2 which are results of actual current values ia- ic passing through coordinates converters 416 and 415. On the other hand, i1* and i2* are given to proportional adjusters 406-408, which controls actual current values ia-ic in closed loop, as components of fixed coordinates for a coordinates converter 417. Their input is added to that of the coordinates converter 414 to make a control signal for the power converter. This compensates amplitude difference and phase difference between command values of each phase current and actual values. And balanced current control can be made possible.
