Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform spray work continuously and uniformly by putting highly viscous fluid in a hopper on a movable truck, installing a screw pump in the lower part of the hopper, measuring the discharge pressure of the fluid near the discharge port of the screw pump and starting or stopping the screw pump according to the discharge pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Highly viscous fluid such as resin mortar, etc. to be coated is put into a hopper 5 and a gun body 8 of mortar gas, etc. is connected to the discharge port 20 through a hose 7 etc. Then, a joining port 14 is connected to a compressed air source to drive an air motor 1 and a screw pump 2 is actuated to send forcibly the highly viscous fluid continuously to the gun body 8. This sending pressure is detected by pressure switches 30, 31 of a pressure sensor 3 and an solenoid type direction switching valve 10 is actuated to turn the air motor 1 on or off and maintain the pressure within a specified range. By maintaining the pressure constant by this way, the quality of coating can be made uniform.
