Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the absorptivity of solar heat radiant energy, and to lessen the heat energy loss, by applying on the surface of a heat collecting plate material a selective absorption film composition including a metal or a metal compound and a binding agent such that the finished film has a specified thickness.
CONSTITUTION: A weatherable and less heat emissive material having a large reflectance such as an Al plate, a copper plate and the like is used as a heat collecting plate, and the selective absorption film composition contains for example a semiconductor such as silicon crystals, a metal oxide such as copper oxide, a halogen compound such as magnesium floride, a metal powder or for example Al or metal compound powder thereof, a binder such as an epoxy resin, and an inorganic binder consisting of silicic acids or phosphoric acids. The composition is kneaded with water into a paint form, and it is coated, dried, and hardened so that the finished film thickness has 10μm or less.
