Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size, inexpensive ink jet print head which makes the exchange of ink easier and also allows the reuse of driving coil by using a system in which ink tank is integrally provided and a head body-constituting part and the driving coil are detachably provided. CONSTITUTION:In an ink on-demand type ink jet print head, a head body-constituting part 11 and a driving coil 12 are detachably provided, whereby permitting the head body and an ink tank 10 to be exchanged at one time and also the driving coil to be reused. The coupling of the head body-constituting part and the driving coil is made by using a spring 9, etc., capable of withstanding the vibration of a vibrating plate 5. Thus, the ink tank can be made smaller and therefore, can be provided integrally, and the wastage of the driving coil can be avoided. Also, an inexpensive print head which can vary colors and print only by exchanging the head body can be obtained.
