Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify mechanism by positioning a lens housing by at least two stages by providing the lens housing movably corresponding to each copying magnification under a platen where an original is set. CONSTITUTION:A lens housing 7 incorporated with a lens system 1 is positioned under a moving platen 4 and both its ends are supported by a couple of support members 8. For magnification m2, for example, the support members 8 are in contact with a stripper 16 and the lens housing 7 stays at a position for the magnification m2, so a copy of the magnification m2 is taken in the said state. When the magnification is changed from the m2 to an m1, a rotary driving source 14 moves a pin 11 to position the lens housing at a place for the magnification m1 and a copy of the magnification m1 is taken. This mechanism is simpler than that moving the lens housing by more than one stage.
