Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain sufficient resistance even against large vibrations by enabling monolithic connection of an adjusting ring, an adjusting washer and the support frame laid sequentially on a slant wall pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A buried anchor 8 and a ring sleeve 9 are buried beforehand respectively in the slant wall pipe 4 and the adjusting ring 5. When the manhole is constructed at a site, the adjusting ring 5 is laid on the slant wall pipe 4, while a ring bolt 10 is inserted into the ring sleeve 9 and also a projection 11 located at the lower end of the bolt 10 is inserted into the upper part of the buried anchor 8. Next, after the height of the adjusting washer 12 is adjusted finally, the lower flange 14 of the support frame 6 is set on the washer 12, a cover bolt 16 is lastly inserted into the bolt hole of the lower flange 14 and the eccentric hole of the washer 12, and the support frame 6 is fixed firmly to the adjusting ring 5 by means of a nut 18.
