Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of troubles due to the difficulty of connection by driving a needle pin attached to a shuttle not connected to an instrument on the fixed side. CONSTITUTION:Electric power actuating needle driving coils 9 attached to a shuttle 10 and a control circuit 6 is supplied through a power transformer 4 to the shuttle 10 in a non-contact manner, and printing data or other necessary control signals are received in non-contacting manner between a fixed side circuit 3 and shuttle side circuit 6 through an optical communication means 7. Thus, the need for connecting the shuttle 10 with the instrument on the fixed side by flexible code or flexible print plate is eliminated. Therefore, the difficulty of connecting work is eliminated and the occurrence of trouble is prevented completely.
