Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a plate body having a grain-looking groove on the surface thereof by injection molding of a thermoplastic resin with an injection molding die with a thread formed on the surface thereof in which a thermoplastic resin decorative sheet premolded with a pattern previously printed is set. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin decorative sheet 1 premolded with a grain pattern previously printed is inserted between an injection molding cavity 4 with a dotlike or linear thread 1-3cm long, 0.1-0.3mm. wide and 0.1-0.3mm. high and a core 5 with the pattern on the cavity side. A melted resin is injected from the side of the core 5 and the sheet 1 is pressed against the cavity 4. Thus, a plate body is obtained with a groove 3 corresponding to the thread 6 formed in the cavity 4.
