Abstract
PURPOSE: To achieve a higher exhausting efficiency, elimination of restriction in the arrangement of members and a greater bank angle by connecting a rear cylinder exhausting pipe of a series V type engine to a muffler on the side of a body passing ahead of a rear wheel and under a secondary transmission gear as extended backward.
CONSTITUTION: An exhaust pipe 9 of a rear cylinder 1b is extended backward. It is led downward passing ahead of a rear wheel 10 and connected to a muffler 12 passing below a chain case 11a of a driving chain 11. This elminates the need for significant alteration in the arrangement of a mounting member thereby improving the exhausting efficiency ensuring an equivalent pipe length. There is no exhausting pipe arranged on the side of the engine thereby eliminating trouble in operation while allowing a greater bank angle.
