Abstract
PURPOSE: To thin a tube sheet and reduce the fluidizing resistance of a fluid by connecting a semi-spherical shell tube sheet having tubular projections connected to a heat transfer tube, to a tip end of a cylindrical flow passage.
CONSTITUTION: The spherical shell tube sheet 2 in which tubular projections 9 are formed and projected by machining is connected to the tip end of a cylindrical fluid passage 1 penetrating through an end plate connected to the tip end of a heat exchange drum. Next, to each of these projections is connected one end of each of short tubes 10 by internal welding, and another end of the short tube 10 is connected to the heat transfer tube. By this construction, operations such as elimination and the like of a backup spring become unnecessary, and the fluidizing resistance of the fluid flowing within the tube can be reduced.
