Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a highly efficient driving corresponding to the speed change of a driven machine in a wide range by connecting variable speed type electric motors to an element of the plural number of units of differential planet gear parts and selecting them by a switching means.
CONSTITUTION: For driving in a range A, variable speed type electric motors 13 and 14 are rotated at a constant speed, while a variable speed typt electric motor 15 is given 0W100% speed change operation by a frequency converter. For driving in a range B, the variable speed type electric motor 15 is put in a halt, the variable speed type electric motor 13 is rotated at a constant speed, and the variable speed type electric motor 14 is given the speed change operation by the frequency converter. For driving in a range C, variable speed type electric motors 14 and 15 are put in a halt, while the variable speed type electric motor 13 is given the speed change operation by the frequency converter.
