Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent generation of an exciting rush current, by gradually raising the output of a power generating apparatus provided between an AC power source and a load transformer. CONSTITUTION:When a starting push button 20 is depressed, a breaker 3 and an electromagnetic contactor 8 are closed, so that a power generating apparatus 9 and a load transformer 2 are connected as well as the power generating apparatus 9 and an AC power source 1 are connected. The exciting current of an electromagnetic coupling 12 to connect a motor 11 and a generator 13 is controlled by means of an automatic frequency regulating circuit 16 as well as the field current of the generator 13 is controlled by means of an automatic voltage regulating circuit 19 in order to gradually raising the output voltage of the power generating apparatus 9. Thereby, there will be no exciting rush current to the load transformer 2. Accordingly, occurrence of mistrip of the breaker 3 is prevented.
