Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve ventilation in a sound-proof cover and to increase cooling effect by a method wherein the exhaust port of the sound-proof cover is provided by shifting to the rotary direction of a fan against the position of the exhaust port of a stator frame in covering the exhaust port section of the stator frame with the sound- proof cover. CONSTITUTION:A stator frame 1 is provided with an exhaust port b facing to a fan 8 mounted on a shaft 5 and a sound-proof cover 11 is installed to cover the echaust port b section. And the exhaust port C of the sound-proof cover 11 is provided by shifting to the rotary direction P side of the fan 8 against the position of the exhaust port b of the stator frame. This method permits good ventilation for air flow passing over the exhaust hole c through the sound-proof cover 11 from the exhaust port b and increases cooling effect.
