Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve discharge property and security of a small thin battery by feeding a mixture of zinc powder having a ratio of the length to the width (l/w) of less than a defonite valve and an adhesive agent in a negative electrode vessel, and charging electrolyte therein. CONSTITUTION:Negative electrode zinc powder having a ratio of the length to the width (l/w) of less than 5.0 is used. A mixture of zinc powder and adhesive powder such as carboxymethyl cellulose or polyacrylic soda is fed in a negative electrode vessel and electrolyte is charge therein, to form a negative electrode. Even if much amount of zinc powder having the ratio of the length to the width of less than 5.0 is fed in a hopper, its fluidity is good enough to improve exactness in measuring is improved and the charged absolute amount is made more, discharge property and security of the small thin battery are improved.
