Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce selectively only the music level, by inserting an electron control variable attenuator into the signal route of a audible frequency amplifying system and varying the degree of attenuation of the atennuator with the control DC voltage that received a wave detection and integration. CONSTITUTION:An electron control variable attenuator 7 is inserted in the middle of an audible frequency amplifying system. The signal is divided in front of the attenuator 7, and the divided signals are made to pass through a voice band eliminating filter 1. Both the high and low band components of the filter 1 are detected by a wave detector 2 to obtain a DC component and then made to pass through an integral network 3 to receive an averaging for the time fluctuation and then to be amplified up to a proper level through a DC amplifier 4. The output of this amplification is applied to the attenuator 7 in the form of a control voltage. As a result, the degree of attenuation is increased between the input and output to reduce automatically the sound volume only when a music is performed.
