Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to collect solar heat by use of inexpensive equipment and to increase the strength of a concrete block of the apparatus by a method wherein a heat medium circulating pipe is provided within the concrete block.
CONSTITUTION: The pipe 2 which has a good heat conductivity is embedded in the concrete block 1 in such a manner that the pipe 2 reciprocates a number of times between the upper and lower ends of the concrete block 1 through a plurality of cavities which run vertically throughout the block in parallel relationships with one another. In this case, the upper and lower turning ends 4 and 5 of the pipe 2 are bent in the shape of U and the lower turning ends 5 are made to extend longer from the concrete block 1 than the upper turning ends 4 do so that the formers may be berried in the ground 6 deeper than the block 1. With such an arrangement, the heat medium is circulated through the pipe 2 so that the solar heat to which the concrete block is subjected is collected by the heat medium through the pipe 2.
