Abstract
PURPOSE:To prolong the life of batteries by applying the output of a voltage fluctuation type battery of silver dioxide, lithium or the like to an oscillation circuit via a regulator, and boosting the output of the regulator by the clock signal from the oscillation circuit. CONSTITUTION:The output of a silver dioxide battery 1 is stabilized by a voltage regulator 2, and provides an electric power source for a boosting circuit 3 and a circuit group 4 driven by low voltage. The circuit 3 doubles the voltage stabilized by the clock signal from a frequency dividing circuit 6 and a voltage regulator 2. The output of the boosting circuit 3 is the electric power source for the rear stage 8 of a frequency dividing circuit driven by high voltage, a counter 9 inputted with the output thereof, a decoder 10 inputted with the output of the counter 9, a display driving circuit 11 inputted with the output of the decoder 10, and a display device 12 which is an electrooptic display driven by the output of the circuit 11.
