Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve workability, stabilize operating characteristics and enable the glass destruction sensor operation test to be automated, by providing a glass plate to which a glass destruction sensor is attached, a high-freqeucny signal generating means whih propagates a high-frequency signal to the glass plate, and the like. CONSTITUTION:The testing apparatus comprises a glass plate 21 surrounded and supported by an aluminum frame 22, a high-frequency signal generator 25, a high- frequency signal transmitting element 24, a measuring apparatus 26 such as an oscilloscope, a low-frequency signal generating means and the like. To the glass plate 21, the high-frequency signal transmitting element 24 connected to the high- frequency signal generator 25 is attached by using a bonding agent or the like. Moreover, through the frame 22 and a holer 35, the low-frequency signal generater is attached thereto. A low-frequency signal can be obtained by dropping a metal ball from a given height. In this case, the glass destruction sensor is not secured to the glass plate by using a bonding agent. Accordingly, the glass destruction sensor operation test can be readily carried out, and the operating charactristics can be stably measured. Moreover, automation is made possible.
