Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform a high efficiency heat collecting operation by a method wherein a pair of trough-shaped reflecting members are coupled parallel to each other to thereby form a reflector unit and a flat heat collector through which a liquid or the like passes is provided within the reflector unit at a position adjacent to, and in parallel relationship with, a glass covering placed over the open side of the reflector unit.
CONSTITUTION: The trough-shaped reflecting members 2 are prepared in a pair which when connected together form the reflector unit 1 and the reflector unit 1 forms the internal surface of a heat insulating frame for the heat collector 3. The heat collector 3 has a width equal to the diameter of each of the reflecting members 2 and is firmly or removably fixed to the upper portion of the reflector unit 1 in parallel relationship with, and in the vicinity of, the glass plate 8 covering the open side of the reflecting unit 1. Further, the heat collector 3 receives a liquid or a gas therein and has a feed port 5 and an exhaust port 6 at both ends thereof, respectively.
