PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of the conductor in transit or when the insulator-to-ground is performed for the subject insulating coil by a method wherein resin is applied at plural points on the surface of the insulating covering of strands when they are tied up, and after they have been tied up, they are bonded by applying heat and pressure. CONSTITUTION:When the strands 2 are tied up and a condutor is formed, resin 3 is applied in longitudinal direction on the surface of the insulating covering 1 of the strands in advance leaving appropriate intervals. After the strands 2 have been tied up, each strand is bonded at the section where resin was applied by applying heat and pressure. Then, an insulating-layer-to-ground 5 is provided on the surface of the tied-up strands and resin is vacuum-impregnated by applying pressure and a desired insulated coil is formed.
