Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the positive irradiation or interception of a laser beam by a method wherein a means to set the irradiation time and interval thereof arbitrarily is provided at a laser generator, and further, a means to determine said time and interval is set up, thereby the reference values and the measured values are compared with each other and the controlling is performed in accordance with the result. CONSTITUTION:A reset switch 8 for which a desired time and interval are set with an irradiation time setting switch 1 and an irradiation interval setting switch 3 is actuated to have reference values memorized in registers 2 and 4. Then, a start switch 11 is actuated and an FF circuit 10 is set to apply output pulses of a generator 5 to a counter 7 through an AND gate 6. In response to the counting of the pulses, the AND gate 12 provides an output signal to irradiate a beam 19 on the tissue of a living body from a laser generator 18 through a shutter control circuit 15. In this manner, the counted values of the irradiation time and interval are compared with the reference values by means of comparators 13 and 20 to actuate the shutter control circuit 15 to perform the irradiation and interception according to the setting.
