Abstract
PURPOSE:To make simple and easy variable magnification of a copying machine having no variable magnification functions possible by installing a freely removable variable magnification optical system on a platen. CONSTITUTION:If a freely movable variable magnification device body 8 provided with a platen 11 for placement of an original 3, a lighting light source 12, a variable mangification optical system 13, etc. is installed by way of guide rails 7 on a copying machine 1 having no variable magnification functions, variable magnification images are formed on the platen 4 of the copying machine 1. Hence, the variable magnification images are formed simply and easily by the copying device having no variable magnification functions.
