Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform a compensation operation effectively and to raise measuring accuracy, by connecting a resistance for temperature compensation on one side of a bridge using a moisture sensitive element of a metal oxide semiconductor and shifting automatically the actuation point of the moisture sensitive element according to the atmospheric temperature. CONSTITUTION:A moisture sensitive element 4' and a temperature compensating resistance R2 constitute sides of a bridge respectively. By the resistance R2 the atmospheric temperature is detected, further by the change of the resistance value as the detected result, a balancing condition is changed. Thereby heating temperature of a resistance R1 of the moisture sensitive element 4' is controlled, and temperature of a moisture sensitive body r combined thermally with said resistance R1 is controlled. When even if the atmospheric temperature is changed in this way, the temperature is detected, and heating temperature for the moisture sensitive element 4' is changed automatically, while the relative humidity can be measured with higher accuracy without being affected by the change of the atmospheric temperature.
