Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a high speed driving circuit for semiconductor light emitting element by connecting one terminal of a parallel circuit with a capacitor and a resistor to the common connecting point of the emitters of an N-P-N and P-N-P transistors and connecting the other terminal to a semiconductor light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:One terminal of a parallel circuit of a capacitor C1 and a resistor R1 is connected to the common connecting point E2 of the emitters of N-P-N and P-N-P transistors Q2 and Q3. The other terminal D2 of the parallel circuit is connected to a semiconductor light emitting element LD1. In this manner, a light pulse having high speed and high transmission quality can be obtained.
