Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance efficiency and make an exhaust gas clean, by suspending a fuel injection to a desired cylinder in accordance with the condition of an engine as well as controlling electrically the fuel injection separately on each cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: A computer 100 actuates solenoids valves 10 and 4, and controls a spool valve 3 so as to control an oil pressure impressed to a piston 2. The piston 2, which increases a fuel oil pressure being supplied from a fuel tank 5 through a filter 6, hydraulic pump 7, safety valve 9, accumulator 8 and spool valve 3, impresses this pressure on an injection nozzle 1 so as to actuate its function of injection. And six thus-composed fuel injection apparatuses 200 are mounted on the six- cylindered engine, while the negine 300 furnished with various kinds of sensors is connected to the computer 100. And then, the computer 100 controls the number of operating cylinders together with a discharging quantity of the hydraulic pump 7.
