CONSTITUTION:The amplitude at the rise and fall parts of a signal to be applied to a laser beam source is formed into a rectangular wave having the larger amplitude than that at the intermediate part. The figure 12 indicates the threshold level, and the signal is recorded on a sensitive material when a beam higher than the level 12 is irradiated to the sensitive material. In this connection, the voltage to be applied is set at VO VP during the rise and the fall to obtain a sharp rise 13 and fall 14 which are higher than the level 12. Thus the S/N can be improved during recording.
