Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure a temperature by a simple device, by constituting a device such as a light screening device which equipped with a temperature compensation circuit is opened longer than the time required for indicating the output of a pyroelectric infrared sensor a peak value, and only once. CONSTITUTION:A temperature measuring device consisting of a light condensing window 2, a shutter 4 and a pyroelectric infrared sensor 3 is placed so as to be opposed to an object whose temperature is measured 1. The sensor 3 is provided with an electrode 6 for an electric power supply, an electrode 7 for an output and an electrode 9 for earth, and incorporates a photoelectric converting element 9 consisting of PVF2, PbTiO3, PZT, etc., a load resistance RL, an FETQ and a source resistance 11. The FETQ and the source resistance 11 are operated as a source follower, and parts are set so that voltage across the load resistance RL becomes equal to both ends of the source resistance 11. Generated voltage V(t) rises gradually after the shutter has been opened, attains to a peak value vp at time tp, and drops after inflection. Accordingly, vp being proportional to a radiation luminous flux of infrared-rays which are made incident to the sensor is derived from opening the shutter for the time which is larger that tp according to the sensor. In this way, a temperature is measured by a simple device.
